Hari ini aku tua…..

Yes the title says it all, I was born somewhere in Sabah today 32 years ago. 32 years man that is freakin’ old. But my greatest concerned is that I don’t even feel like it. Not sure its a good thing or not.

Up to date, I have been preparing for my departure from this quite life in Labuan, I have done all the necessary things that I think should equip me well into my uncharted journey, just a small thing ahead that I need to resolve with.

As I said, earlier the more I tried to get myself out of this academic world, the more it sucks me in. Well I have been discussing with the Dean and the current Timbalan Dekan Penyelidikan and Innovasi on the transition of power this March and on the roles that such title bare, like what are the responsibilities and what to expect from this job.

Well yes people, its not official yet but, the discussion that I had with the Dean is that he offered me to be his new Tim Dekan P&I for the new SSIL cabinet lineup. And I was supposed to receive the appointment letter anytime in March. I have been eyeing for the job, or should I say the title since couple of years back, but had never though it would come this time around.

My worry lies to the fact that I have everything that I had planned since early last year would not again put into halt or distracted by this,maybe I should take my wife’s advice, that is to perform an ‘Istiqarah’ for myself, maybe god has some really good plans for me. Who knows.

Well that have to wait, right now I need to keep an empty stomach because tonight we shall have a feast!!!
